Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is an actress from Canada and the United Kingdom. best known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. In 2008 and 2010, she reprised the character in the film Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. Her other notable roles include her leading roles in the 1980s films Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall is most often linked to her HBO sitcom Sex & the City, in which she portrayed Samantha Jones.
